Fans Accuse Justin Bieber's Mom of Liking a Telling Tweet at the Peak of All This Hailey and Selena Drama - Yahoo Life

Just when you thought all this Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez drama had reached its peak, it appears as though Justin Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallette, has entered the chat. On top of Pattie tweeting, "Hate is ugly. Don’t be ugly" on the same day Hailey and Selena drama hit its crescendo...

...fans on Twitter allege that she liked and then swiftly unliked a comment about Selena taking a break from social media:

Selena announced her break from social on February 23, saying in a live video, "I'm very happy, I'm so blessed, I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn't be happier. I'm good. I love the way I am I don't care, I'm big, I'm not, I don't care. I love who I am. And yeah, I'm gonna be taking a second from social media, because this is a little silly. And I'm 30, I'm too old for this, so...but I love you guys so much! And I will see you guys sooner than later, I just... I'm just gonna just take a break from everything."

She's since reactivated her TikTok account, but the short break came after she defended Taylor Swift on a resurfaced video of Hailey Bieber seemingly gagging at Taylor's name. In response, Selena wrote, "So sorry my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game."

On top of that, Sel commented, "I love you" on a fan's TikTok calling out the "mean girls coming at [Selena's] fucking throat" and the "disgusting, despicable behavior from the nepo babies."

All of this ^^ comes after Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber were accused of bullying Selena over her accidentally-over-laminated eyebrows. Selena actually backed up Kylie Jenner's denial that she and Hailey weren't bullying Sel with, "Agreed @kyliejenner It's all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie!"

Shakira says there's a 'place in hell' for women who don't support women after ex goes official with new gf - Fox News

After releasing another apparent "diss track" aimed at her ex Gerard Piqué, Shakira shaded his new girlfriend, saying in a recent interview that "there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t support women."

Pique, the father of her two sons, recently went public with 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti after the two allegedly cheated while the "She Wolf" singer was on tour.

The couple was together for 11 years and announced their split last June.

"I bought the story that a woman needs a man to be complete," Shakira, 46, told Mexican journalist Enrique Acevedo on his Televisa show "En Punto" in Spanish. "I had that dream of having a family: mother and a father living with their children living under the same roof. Not every dream in life comes true, but life finds a way to make it up to you."

"I just love love," she added. "But I think somehow I see things from a different perspective now," she reflected. "I feel I’m enough and I think when a woman faces challenges in life, they come back stronger. The singer said it was cathartic to work with DJ Bizarrap on "BZRP Music Session #53," in which she sang in Spanish "I was out of your league" and "I won't get back with you, not if you cry, not even if you beg me."

In her new song "TQG," Shakira sings in Spanish, "You’re not welcome here anymore/ I saw what your girlfriend said to me/ It doesn’t even make me angry/ I laugh."

Teen Mom’s Ryan Edwards and Wife Mackenzie Edwards Split After 6 Years - Yahoo Entertainment

Teen Mom’s Ryan Edwards and Wife Mackenzie Edwards Split After TK Years - 550
Courtesy Mackenzie Edwards/Instagram

It’s over. Teen Mom alums Ryan Edwards and wife Mackenzie Edward (née Standifer) have called it quits after six years of marriage, Us Weekly can confirm.

Mackenzie, 26, officially filed for divorce from Ryan, 35, on Monday, February 27, per court documents obtained by Us. In addition to filing for divorce, Mackenzie was also granted a restraining order and temporary custody of their two children.

Earlier this month, Ryan was arrested after he broke an Order of Protection that Mackenzie sought out after her ex posted revealing photos of her on the internet and alleged that she cheated on him.

The former couple, who met at a gym in Chattanooga, Tennessee, showcased their relationship on the MTV series for several years. They got engaged in December 2016 and wed five months later. Their dramatic 2017 nuptials — where Ryan drove himself and Mackenzie to their ceremony as barely kept his eyes on the road — were also featured on the reality show.

After they got married, Ryan and Mackenzie welcomed two children, son Jagger and daughter Stella, in 2018 and 2020, respectively.

The 16 and Pregnant alum is also father of son Bentley, 13, whom he shares with ex Maci Bookout. The exes had a tumultuous relationship before and welcoming their son in October 2009. Not long after Bentley’s birth, Bookout, 31, and Ryan split in 2010 and their ups and downs — including issues with coparenting and her ex’s struggles with substance abuse — continued.

“He’s only seen him a couple of times this year,” the Teen Mom OG star exclusively told Us Weekly of her son’s strained relationship with his father. “To be quite honest, Ryan doesn’t show up to any baseball games or anything like that. It’s not shocking that he doesn’t see him that much.”

The Bulletproof author, for her part, later moved on with husband Taylor McKinney. The pair share daughter Jayde, 7, and son Maverick, 6. In 2018, the couple and their children obtained a two-year restraining order (which has now ended) against Ryan after he allegedly sent threatening messages. The duo would communicate via Ryan’s parents when it came to issues regarding Bentley. (Bentley was not included in the restraining order.)

In March 2021, Ryan and his family were let go from Teen Mom OG. At the time, Mackenzie insinuated that Bookout got them kicked off the MTV series.

“Nothing happened, literally, nothing. We just got a call yesterday from [producers] Morgan [J. Freeman] and Larry [Musnik] at MTV,” Mackenzie said to Katie Joy on Without a Crystal Ball. “Maci’s agent went above their heads and went to Viacom and said that they wanted to focus on all of Maci’s abilities and whatever she does and that we took up the time on the show that she could be using to show all that.”

News of their release from the show came shortly after McKinney got into an argument with Ryan’s parents over his lack of involvement in Bentley’s life.

“It’s just more of an angry, I’m gonna show you who’s boss-type of deal,” Mackenzie claimed. “The truth in the matter is, she calls the shots here. This is her show. It is what it is. It’s fine.”

Madonna paid for brother Anthony Ciccone's rehab before his death - Page Six

Madonna was footing the bill for her late brother’s rehab care before his death.

Despite the siblings’ strained relationship, Anthony Ciccone had been staying at a Michigan treatment center on the Queen of Pop’s dime, sources tell Page Six.

Our insiders share that Anthony actively battled alcoholism and was homeless but had often rejected help from Madonna and the rest of their family.

When Anthony recently became unable to care for himself, his superstar younger sister stepped in to pay for his rehabilitation, according to sources.

TMZ reported Tuesday that just two days before Anthony’s death on Feb. 24, he attempted to remove his feeding and breathing tubes while seeking treatment. The 66-year-old had also reportedly lost a significant amount of weight toward the end of his life.

His cause of death has yet to be revealed.

Sources previously told Page Six that Anthony and Madonna “had a difficult relationship,” citing his hesitance to accept help in his struggles with drinking.

“Madonna helped to support her brother when he would accept that support,” one insider shared Sunday. “During his final months, he was in contact with family and Madonna, but this past week, he refused the support the rehab facility offered, and it was clear he was ready to move on.”

The “Vogue” singer, 64, posted a sentimental tribute to her brother Monday, thanking him for introducing her to various artists and ideas when they were growing up.

“Thank you for blowing my mind as a young girl and introducing me to Charlie Parker / Miles Davis / Buddhism / Taoism / Charles Bukowski / Richard Brautigan / Jack Kerouac / Expansive Thinking / Outside the Box,” she wrote on her Instagram Story along a throwback photo with Anthony and others.

“You planted many important seeds,” Madonna added.

Mark Wahlberg — Who Once Assaulted Two Vietnamese Men — Was the Wrong Choice to Present ‘Everything Everywhere’ Cast a SAG Award - Rolling Stone

Everything Everywhere All at Once continued its awards season tear at the SAG Awards Sunday night, Feb. 26. Three of the film’s stars — Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ke Huy Quan — won individual acting prizes, while the entire ensemble took home Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

It was this last award, however, that has stirred up some controversy — not because of the winner, but the presenter: Mark Wahlberg. As the predominately Asian cast of EEAO took the stage, Wahlberg’s presence raised eyebrows considering his history of violence against Asian people as a teenager.

“It must have been quite a shock for Mark Wahlberg to witness a group of Asians beating white people,” journalist Jeff Yang tweeted, Another reporter, Bonnie Stiernberg, added, “I gotta say, having Mark Wahlberg, who literally went to jail as a teen for committing a hate crime against a Vietnamese man, present an award to the cast of Everything Everywhere All At Once was certainly a choice.”

In 1988, Wahlberg was convicted of assaulting two Vietnamese American men while trying to steal a few cases of beer from them outside a convenience store (Wahlberg, who was 16 at the time, claimed he was high on PCP). First, Wahlberg knocked one man, Thanh Lam, unconscious with a wooden stick, then he punched another man, Hoa (“Johnny”) Trinh. Investigators noted at the time that Wahlberg used several racist epithets and slurs during the attack.

Wahlberg was eventually charged with attempted murder but pleaded guilty to felony assault, earning a two-year prison sentence but only serving 45 days. (Prior to this incident, Wahlberg was also part of a civil action involving the harassment of a group of Black children.) Wahlberg applied for a pardon in 2014 but decided to drop the bid two years later after it was met with protests from activist groups.

Trending

Wahlberg has apologized for the assaults in various interviews over the years, and while trying to obtain the pardon. In a 2016 Q&A at the Toronto Film Festival, he said that he was able to finally meet with Trinh and his family and “apologize for those horrific acts.”

Reps for the SAG Awards did not immediately return Rolling Stone’s request for comment as to how Wahlberg came to present the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. (Obviously, it wasn’t publicly known that the Everything Everywhere cast was going to win the prize, though they were certainly favorites going into the night). Representatives for several cast members — including Yeoh, Quan, and Stephanie Hsu — also did not immediately return requests for comment.

Family reveals cause of death for Jansen Panettiere, brother of Hayden Panettiere - WSB Atlanta

One week after Jansen Panettiere’s death, his family revealed that the voice actor passed away from natural causes.

>> Read more trending news

In a statement to ABC News, Panettiere’s family — including his sister, actress Hayden Panettiere — said that Jansen died from “a cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications.”

“Jansen’s heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile; his soul in his masterful and revealing paintings, and the joy of life in his dry wit. … His charisma, warmth, compassion for others, and his creative spirit will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all whom he encountered,” the family said.

According to the Mayo Clinic, an enlarged heart isn’t a disease itself, but rather points to another condition. The condition can be caused by heart damage or certain types of heart disease.

“We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support towards our family as we navigate this unthinkable loss, and ask that we be gifted our privacy during this time of mourning,” the family’s statement read. “We love you so much and you will be in our hearts forever.”

Jansen worked as an actor and had multiple credits to his name on “Even Stevens,” “The Walking Dead” and “How High 2.”

SAG Awards 2023: How to watch and livestream the show - New York Post

The 2023 award season continues in full swing with the SAG Awards on Sunday night.

The 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards — or SAG Awards — return to Hollywood on Feb. 26 to celebrate the best in movies and TV — but this year marks a change in viewing options.

For the first time in SAG Awards history, the ceremony will be streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube channel rather than being shown on traditional TV.

The move precedes the decision to broadcast the awards exclusively on Netflix, starting in 2024.

Winners are determined by 122,600 eligible voters within the actors’ union, SAG-AFTRA.

When are the SAG Awards?

The 2023 SAG Awards take place on Sunday, Feb. 26, starting at 8 p.m. EST at the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles, California.

How can I watch this year’s show?

For the first time in SAG Awards history, the show will not be broadcast on traditional TV. Instead, the ceremony will be streamed live online on Netflix’s YouTube channel.

For clarity: the show will not be on Netflix. It will be on the streamer’s channel on YouTube.com.

Viewers can also cast the show onto their TVs through the YouTube app on smart TVs or devices like a Roku Streaming Stick, Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick.

Where can I stream the red carpet?

People and Entertainment Weekly will both be streaming the SAG Awards red carpet on their separate YouTube channels.

Both streams will go live at 5:45 p.m. EST.

Who’s hosting the ceremony?

A master of ceremonies for the 2023 SAG Awards has yet to be announced. This will be the third year in a row that the show has not had a host.

Its last hosts were Dan and Eugene Levy in 2020, Megan Mullally in 2019 and Kristen Bell in 2018.

Who’s nominated?

Nominees for the 2023 SAG Awards include Adam Sandler, Jennifer Coolidge, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Yeoh, Viola Davis, Austin Butler and Colin Farrell.

Fan favorite films competing for the gold include “The Fabelmans,” “Babylon,” “The Crown,” “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and “The Banshees of Inisherin.”

See the complete list of nominees here.

Do the SAGs predict Oscar winners?

The SAG Awards are typically the most reliable in terms of predicting Oscar winners. Last year, SAG winners exactly matched the Academy Awards winners.

The 2023 SAG Awards take place on Sunday, Feb. 26, starting at 8 p.m. EST at the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles, California.

Who is presenting?

This year’s SAG Awards presenters include Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, Don Cheadle, Caleb McLaughlin, Paul Mescal and Ashley Park.

Additional presenters announced Thursday include Zendaya, Aubrey Plaza, Jenna Ortega, Jason Bateman, Adam Scott, Jeff Bridges, Matt Bomer, Ariana DeBose, Eugene Levy and Amy Poehler

SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher will also take the stage and give out an award.

Who is receiving the SAG Life Achievement Award?

Sally Field, 76, will be honored with the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. Andrew Garfield, 39, will be on-site to present “The Flying Nun” actress with the honor.

The Oscar and Emmy-winning Field has had a prolific career, starring in iconic projects such as “Mrs. Doubtfire,” “Steel Magnolias,” “Forrest Gump,” “Gidget” and “Smokey and the Bandit.”

Box Office: ‘Cocaine Bear’ Sniffs Up $23 Million, ‘Ant-Man 3’ Suffers Massive 69% Drop - Variety

Universal’s horror-comedy “Cocaine Bear” blew past box office projections, earning an impressive $23 million from 3,534 North American theaters in its opening weekend. The blood-splattered animal adventure landed in second place on domestic charts behind Disney’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” which all but collapsed in its sophomore outing.

“Ant-Man 3” managed to remain in first place given its huge $106 million opening, but the comic book installment is suffering from negative word-of-mouth. It added $32.2 million from 4,345 venues in its second weekend of release, marking a brutal 69% decline from its debut.

Now, “Quantumania” holds the ignominious distinction as the biggest week-to-week drop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including “Thor: Love and Thunder” (which fell 67%), “Black Widow” (which plunged 67.8% while debuting simultaneously on Disney Plus) and “Eternals” (which fell 62% after equally bad reviews). Globally, the movie has generated $364 million, including $167 million domestically and $196 million internationally.

Elizabeth Banks directed “Cocaine Bear,” which earned another $5.3 million at the international box office for a global debut of $28.4 million. The movie was budgeted at roughly $35 million. For Universal, “Cocaine Bear” is another win for original ideas following its killer-doll movie “M3GAN,” which became a surprise hit to the tune of $170 million globally.

“It’s an outrageous comedy that absolutely delivers on its premise,” says Jim Orr, Universal’s president of domestic distribution. “People were ready to see something over the top.”

Moviegoers were mixed on “Cocaine Bear,” giving the film a “B-” CinemaScore. Inspired by the true story about a drug runner’s plane crash, the wildly R-rated “Cocaine Bear” follows the residents of a small town who try to escape a 500-pound black bear that ingests a duffle bag of blow.

“Audiences tend to be tough after being grossed-out,” says David A. Gross, who runs the movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research. Yet that didn’t deter patrons from buying tickets. “Horror comedies benefit from the outrageous, and this story of an accidentally cocaine-crazed bear is wacko,” he adds.

In third place, Lionsgate’s religious drama “Jesus Revolution” put projections to shame by debuting to $15.5 million from 2,475 theaters. Heading into the weekend, the movie was expected to earn $6 million to $7 million.

Faith-based audiences — 59% were female and 89% were 25 or older — were charmed by “Jesus Revolution,” bestowing the film a rare “A+” CinemaScore. From “I Can Only Imagine” filmmakers the Erwin brothers and their company Kingdom Story Company, the $15 million-budgeted movie follows a youth minister and a pastor as they partake in the evangelical Christian movement that swept Southern California in the early 1970s.

Paul Dergarabedian, a senior Comscore analyst, says there’s a “massively underserved faith-based audience.” “With ‘Jesus Revolution,’ [Kingdom Story Company] hit another home run in their partnership with Lionsgate and have created quite a fruitful business model for releasing these types of films to an enthusiastic and faithful fan base.”

“Avatar: The Way of Water” and “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” rounded out box office charts. At No. 4, James Cameron’s “Avatar” sequel added $4.7 million from 2,495 venues in its 11th weekend of release. It’s now the ninth-highest grossing movie in North America with $665.4 million. Overseas, the sci-fi blockbuster has generated a massive $1.6 billion, bringing its global tally to $2.267 billion.

Another box office mainstay “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” followed closely behind with $4.1 million from 2,840 locations in its 10th weekend in theaters. The animated sequel, set in the “Shrek” universe, has been quietly chugging along with $173 million domestically and $442 million worldwide.

Overall, the weekend box office is encouragingly ahead of last year’s tally by 47%, according to Comscore. Michael B. Jordan’s sports drama “Creed III,” Paramount’s thriller “Scream VI,” the Warner Bros. superhero sequel “Shazam: Fury of the Gods” and “John Wick: Chapter 4” will attempt to sustain the momentum in the coming weeks.

“Year-to-date, 2023 has been much better than 2022, but 2022 dug itself into an early hole with a thin release schedule,” says Franchise Entertainment Research’s Gross. “So that’s a hollow victory.”

Woody Harrelson's Fifth 'SNL' Monologue Turns Anti-Vaxx - Vulture

Woody Harrelson joined Saturday Night Live’s five-timers club last night, and he celebrated the occasion with an anti-vaxx monologue. Well, what did we expect? After all, this is a man who once posted (and later deleted) the conspiracy theory that 5G internet is responsible for the COVID pandemic, and who told Vanity Fair last year that he thought masking protocols were absurd because he “doesn’t believe in the germ theory.”

Harrelson kicked his monologue off by noting that he starts smoking weed at noon and gets “progressively dumber as the day unfolds.” Perhaps it was intentional, then, that he rambled a bit during the next few minutes of the nighttime show. However, the self-described “anarchist, Marxist, ethical hedonist, nondiscriminatory empath, epistemological descontructionist, Texan” eventually got to his point by using the plot of a movie script he previously rejected as a metaphor for his thoughts on vaccine mandates. “The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes, and people can only come out if they take the cartel’s drugs — and keep taking them — over and over,” he said. Watch him explain how unbelievable “that crazy idea” was to him above.

Remembering George Harrison on His 80th Birthday - Rolling Stone

G eorge Harrison would have turned 80 years old today. Though he died over two decades ago, his work continues to inspire people all across the globe.

Just this week, Yusuf, a.k.a. Cat Stevens, covered “Here Comes the Sun” and signed with Harrison’s label, Dark Horse Records. “While most of my generation were just into the music, I was a bit like George, where music became the key to something much higher,” he said. “I’m happy to sing one of his songs, especially as it represents the returning of light and hope to a seriously dark and broken world.”

In 2018, Steve Perry also sang a Harrison song, covering the Beatles’ “I Need You” on his 2018 solo album Traces. “The recording vocal style George got by doubling his voice is just beautiful,” the former Journey frontman tells us of the Help! track. “It has this creamy aspect to it, and when you couple that with the melody he wrote along with his guitar answers fading in and out after every vocal phrase, I had to play it over and over again.”

My Morning Jacket’s Jim James plays a different Harrison song on repeat: “My Sweet Lord.” “This song is a sacred mantra,” he says. “I live inside the womb of it for days at a time. It plays on repeat in my mind — sometimes I will go for weeks without ever listening to or thinking of any other song. I am singing along and we are all hearts afire, ready to hear it start all over again and again.”

To celebrate Harrison’s birthday, Rolling Stone has put together a special tribute, containing coverage of the Beatle across our 55-year history. “What you find is that you have a hit and suddenly everybody’s knocking on your door and bugging you again,” he told us in 1979, ever the Quiet One. “I enjoy being low profile and having a peaceful sort of life.”

“Jane Doe 1” From the Weinstein Trial Reveals Her Identity - The Cut

Photo: Elisabetta A. Villa/WireImage

The anonymous woman known as “Jane Doe 1” in a sexual-assault case against Harvey Weinstein has revealed her identity and spoken publicly for the first time. Evgeniya Chernyshova told The Hollywood Reporter that she wanted to come forward because she is “tired of hiding.”

“I want my life back,” she said. “I’m Evgeniya, I’ve been raped. This is my story.”

Of the four women Weinstein was charged with assaulting in Los Angeles County, Chernyshova’s case is the only one that led to a conviction. She was the first of 44 witnesses called to testify by prosecutors, and she was the only person allowed to make a statement at Weinstein’s sentencing on Thursday. The jury in the L.A. trial found Weinstein guilty of one count of rape, one count of forced oral copulation, and one count of sexual misconduct regarding Chernyshova.

He was sentenced to 16 years in prison. The judge ordered Weinstein to serve the L.A. sentence after he finishes the 23-year sentence he is serving from his 2020 sexual-assault conviction in New York. In effect, Thursday’s sentence means Weinstein, who is 70, will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Chernyshova told The Hollywood Reporter that her daughter had encouraged her to go public. When she reported her assault to police in 2017, she wanted to be anonymous because she was “ashamed and humiliated.” But being “Jane Doe 1” kept her from being open with people in her life about what she was living through and from connecting with other victims, she said.

“I thought it was a good decision to protect my kids,” she said. “But it was a horrible decision for myself because I’ve been cut off from everyone. It isn’t right to go through this hell alone.”

The former model and actress runs Bottega Bouquet, a floral-design business in Beverly Hills. She only told a few people — including her priest and her children’s nanny — about the rape, which happened ten years ago.

“Part of me, I’m fearing for my future,” she said of coming forward. “But I’m proud of myself. If I continue to hide, I cannot do anything. I will just be there with my pain.”

Though Harvey Weinstein’s recent criminal trial in Los Angeles dealt with accusations from multiple women, the disgraced producer was only convicted in connection to the assault of one woman in particular. Known throughout the trial as “Jane Doe 1,” the survivor, Evgeniya Chernyshova, revealed her identity in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m tired of hiding,” she told the outlet. “I want my life back. I’m Evgeniya, I’ve been raped. This is my story.”

Chernyshova shared with the outlet her memory of the assault, which occurred while attending the Los Angeles Italia Film Festival. Afterward, she felt “depressed” and blamed herself for years. Only when her own daughter came to her, saying she had been assaulted as a sophomore in high school, did Chernyshova finally consider coming forward with her own experience. “I told her that there was only one condition that I was gonna be able to [report my case], and that’s if she also came forward with her case,” the former model explained.

Even then she was hesitant, but the exposés about Weinstein’s crimes in 2017 gave her the courage to go to the police. The road to the Los Angeles trial was slow going, and when it finally happened in 2022 Chernyshova described it as “the worst experience of my life.” She said, “The defense lawyers’ techniques, how they harass and humiliate you, it is brutal.”

Chernyshova, who has since filed a civil suit against Weinstein, remained anonymous during this period “because I was ashamed and humiliated,” she explained. “I thought it was a good decision to protect my kids. But it was a horrible decision for myself because I’ve been cut off from everyone. It isn’t right to go through this hell alone.” While she is the sole survivor among those who testified in Los Angeles to receive the court’s justice, “I believe all of the victims who testified,” she stated. “All of them. And I want to say this—this is not only my victory, this is our victory.”

Indeed, Jane Doe #3 released her own statement to that effect. “Today, justice prevailed for survivors. No woman has to fear Harvey Weinstein again as he will never leave prison,” she said in a press release from her team of lawyers at Katz Banks Kumin. “I testified against Harvey Weinstein, staring that monster in the eyes for three days in a brutal trial during which Weinstein’s lawyers tried to smear me and all of his accusers, claiming that Harvey was the victim of the #MeToo movement. Today, the court rejected this notion and gave Harvey what he deserved—the maximum sentence possible.”

As for Chernyshova, she said of the sentencing, “I feel free, and a heavy weight and burden has been lifted off my chest. I am looking forward to a good night’s sleep.” You can read her full interview here.

Paris Hilton Reveals She Was Drugged and Raped When She Was 15 - Rolling Stone

Paris Hilton revealed in a new interview that, when she was 15 years old, she was drugged and raped by an “older” man.

Prior to the publication of her biography Paris: The Memoir — where she writes about the incident in greater detail — the heiress and reality TV star talked to Glamour UK about the alleged rape, which she said was her first sexual experience.

While living with her grandmother in Palm Springs, the 15-year-old Hilton would travel back to Los Angeles on weekends and, like teenagers, go to the mall. “We would go there almost every weekend,” Hilton told Glamour. “That was our favorite thing to do, and these [older] guys would always just be hanging around the stores… we’d talk to them, give them our beeper [pager] numbers.”

Hilton continued, “And then one day, they invited us to their house, and we’re drinking these berry wine coolers.” One of the “older guys” was insistent that she drink the wine they were providing. “I didn’t drink or anything back then, but then when I had maybe one or two sips, I just immediately started feeling dizzy and woozy. I don’t know what he put in there, I’m assuming it was a roofie [Rohypnol].”

She said that she woke up hours later and knew something had happened to her. “I remembered it. I have visions of him on top of me, covering my mouth, being like, ‘You’re dreaming, you’re dreaming,’ and whispering that in my ear,” Hilton said.

Hilton previously opened up about the sexual abuse she suffered while attending the Provo Canyon School, the Utah boarding school she spent a year at as a teenager, soon after the rape incident.

“Very late at night – this would be around 3 or 4 in the morning – they would take myself and other girls into this room, and they would perform medical exams,” Hilton wrote in the New York Times. “This wasn’t even with a doctor. It was with a couple different staff members, where they would have us lay on the table and put their fingers inside of us. And I don’t know what they were doing, but it was definitely not a doctor.”

Elsewhere in the Glamour interview (as well as in the memoir), Hilton talks about her close-call encounter with disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein. She also reveals that, in her early twenties, she had an abortion, which in turn has made her a vocal advocate on the topic.

“This was also something that I didn’t want to talk about because there was so much shame around that,” Hilton told Glamour. “I was a kid and I was not ready for that.” Now, however, “There’s just so much politics around it and all that, but it’s a woman’s body… Why should there be a law based on that? It’s your body, your choice and I really believe in that. It’s mind-boggling to me that they’re making laws about what you do with your reproductive health, because if it were the other way around with the guys, it would not be this way at all.”

Ellen DeGeneres boasts about predicting Paris Hilton's baby's name - Page Six

Ellen DeGeneres wants Paris Hilton to gift her a hotel after she successfully guessed her baby boy’s name.

The embattled TV host, 65, boasted about identifying the name Phoenix during a segment on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in January 2022.

“I named @ParisHilton’s baby! What do I win?!?! A hotel?!?!” she captioned a clip of her interview with Hilton, which she reposted on Instagram Wednesday.

The “Simple Life” alum, 42, showed some love to DeGeneres by reposting the video on her respective Instagram Story with a blue heart emoji.

In the throwback clip, DeGeneres asked the hotel heiress if she would name her future son after a “city or country”.

Though Hilton said that was her intention, she admitted that she would not disclose it because “I’m scared someone will steal the name,” adding, “no one I know” has the moniker.

“Argentina?” the host guessed, to which Hilton replied, “Not telling you.”

The comedian then said, “Alright. We’re going to take a break then. I’ll guess it. I will … Phoenix?”

The socialite recently welcomed her first child with husband Carter Reum via surrogate and revealed his moniker earlier this week.

“My beautiful baby boy’s name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum,” she said on her “This Is Paris” podcast Wednesday. “And Carter and I are so proud to welcome him into the world.”

Hilton noted that the name stands for “hope, rebirth and transformation” and said it paired well with her future daughter’s name: London.

“I’ve been planning my children’s names for years and years,” she shared, explaining that she chose his middle name in honor of her late grandfather, Barron Hilton.

“He was always my mentor, and I looked up to my grandfather so much, and we were so close, and I miss him every day, so I really wanted to honor him by having his name in my first son’s name,” she said.

The arrival of their baby comes less than two years after the pair tied the knot.

The former reality star first revealed the heartwarming news when she shared a snap of little Phoenix’s hand on Jan. 25.

“You are already loved beyond words 💙,” she wrote at the time.

Hilton began dating Reum in late 2019.

The entrepreneur proposed to the “Stars Are Blind” singer in February 2021 and they tied the knot nine months later.
